Isabelle Melanson made her mark at Sectionals by not only placing first in both the 200yd Freestyle and 500yd Freestyle (making her the Southern Sectional Champion in both of her individual events!) – she placed 1st overall for the 500yd Freestyle! Isabelle stayed near her opponent throughout the race then sailed past her in the final 100yds in the most exciting race of Sectionals! Isabelle will represent Houston Academy at the State Championships in Auburn this Friday and Saturday (Dec. 1st & 2nd). Wish her luck when you see her! We know she will make our Raider Nation proud. Go Isabelle! Swim Fast! Go Raiders!
