Boys Middle School Cross Country, Boys Varsity Cross Country · Cross Country finishes STRONG

The HA Raiders XC Varsity Boys  finished their season Saturday after running the state finals in Oakville (home of Olympian, Jesse Owens).
The Raiders placed 5th out of 12 teams in the AHSAA 3A.

Carson Daugherty (10th grade) led the Raiders with a time of 17:33. Daugherty placed 12th out of 140 runners and medaled All-State. Chris Tamburin (10th grader) placed 30th with a time of 18:27. Gunnar Smith (8th) Placed 36th with a time of 18:39. Luke Thompson (8th) placed 55th. Smith and Thompson were the only 8th graders in the state that placed in the top 55.
Coming in next for the Raiders were Andrew Tamburin (10th) at 19:38.  Senior, Nicholas Dulaney ran a 19:58. Peyton Sanders (9th) ran 20:00, John Connor Daugherty (7th) ran 20:26. Will Thompson (10th) ran 21:02 and Dalton Mathis (8th) ran 21:14.

This is the 3rd year the Raiders Varsity boys team have gone to state, but the 4th for runners C Daugherty, Dulaney and W Thompson.
